Q. Do you dismantle things to move?

A. Yes, our movers will do any “handyman” type dismantling / reassembling needed.

Q. What if it doesn’t fit in one trip?

A. Our trucks are the largest rigid body trucks that we can use in suburban streets. 90% of moves we can complete in one trip, however in special circumstances if the load exceeds a single load, we will do two trips or send a second truck. We do operate a fleet of large furniture container trucks, so this is not usually a problem.

Q. What if I need to cancel?

A. Please give us as much notice as possible as we understand that your situation may change at late notice. All deposits on interstate trips will not be refunded as we may not be able to fill the allocated space kept for your removal.

Q. How long will the move take?

A. Our crews are experienced and will get in and move you as quickly and carefully as possible, but ultimately they can only deal with whatever you give them. If moving house to save time then some customers pre-pack the house themselves and some will have extra helpers for the move, this is of course up to the customers discretion,remember we can handle any size move. The best way to ensure a fast, efficient move is to make sure you are organised and as ready as possible when we arrive – all loose items packed into boxes and accesses clear. You can further control the time the move takes by helping out as much or as little as you like - the more you do, the less time your move will take and consequently the more $ you will save.

Q. I just want to move one item to the next room, how much will this cost?

A. There is a minimum 1 hour charge for all moves. If you get a quote for a few items, you will get the hourly rate for this type of move.

Q. Can I help move?

A. Of course! We strongly believe you should be free to control your cost. With Aardvark Removals, the more you do, the less we do, the less your move will cost. You can take this to any extreme. It's your choice if you wish to help or not.
